Kaliabor Manor

 

Location: The Transport facility is very good to the Resort. The LGBI international airport,guwahati is 155 KM away from the resort and the Jorhat airport is 140 KM away. The Bus service service is also available to the resort. The resort is located in the Roadside of the National Highway NH 37A, so, there is nothing any problem regarding Transportation.


About: The Koliabor Manor, in Assam, India is a Wildlife Adventure Camp which is strategically located from Kaziranga, Nameri and Orang. The Koliabor Manor provides a walk through naature's pristine presence in some of the oldest untouched forests and tea plantations.


The camp is an exclusive retreat for nature and wildlife lovers, who can enjoy the varied wildlife and the stunning beauty of sacred groves. Personal attention is the hallmark of your stay here. Your manager is also your host and is on hand to see to all your desires and answer all your questions. There’s all the luxury of a private safari and vintage car without the excessive costs.


The resort is owned by Mr. Prasanta Borgohain who Apart from being the director of Koliabor Manor, Mr. Borgohain is also the Director of Maharaja Voyages Pvt. Ltd. Maharaja Voyages a leading Travel and Tour operator of Delhi.

Accommodation:

The Koliabor Manor is distinctly divided into the heritage bungalow and the spectacular cottages. Koliabor Manor provides accommodation for 20 guests in four heritage rooms in the bungalow and six private cottages. The cottages have a built up area of more than 400 sq. ft each and the heritage rooms have a built up area of more than 1000 sq. ft. each.

Accommodation Facilities
All the cottages have private garden and an outside deck for sunbathing. The cottages feature king sized beds, freestanding roll top baths and separate showers. The cottages have wooden flooring and embroidered interiors and are furnished in regal and elegant style. All the heritage rooms and the cottages have a DVD player and a mini - bar.


Entry to each cottage is through a screened area that contains an armchair and a dining table with chairs. Beyond this is centre of the cottage which has a small daybed, ideal for lounging. Opening from the central area would be three further sections for sleeping, bathing and dressing. The 'bedroom' area is fitted with a king-size bed flanked by writing desk. The bathing area includes a shower, Jacuzzi and separate toilet whilst the dressing area contains the cupboards with hanging space and twin vanities. Cotton screens and curtains provide complete privacy. All the rooms and cottages are air-conditioned and there is also a ceiling fan/standing fan.

Lounge and Library


The lounge and the library are located in bungalow. The lounge is furnished with banquettes, reading tables and chairs. The library provides a wide collection of coffee-table books on the national park, the rhinos, the elephants, the tigers, various birds, tea gardens, the history and culture of Assam, as well as on other aspects of Indian culture and history. Also on offer is a selection of novels, magazines and board games. A small range of local handicrafts, fabrics, CDs, CD players and sundries can also be made available for purchase.


Canopies


Four canopies have been erected at landmark points for the guest to sit in leisure during their walks.


Dining Room


The Dining Room at the resort is furnished with tables and chairs and has an open kitchen. The kitchen serves Indian and local cuisine and a range of Western dishes. Most of the vegetables and herbs are grown in the camp’s organic vegetable garden to ensure best possible freshness. Meals are served on fine china and crystal as well as traditional silverware. Guests can even tailor their own menus with our Executive Chef.

BY Flight: The nearest airport is Jorhat, just 117 kms away from the park.

 

By Train: The nearest railway station is Furcating, 55 kms away from the park.


By Road: Kaziranga National Park: 20 KMs.
